Why Infrared Sauna?
Detoxification through sweating (releasing of toxins)
Relaxation; helping to balance your body’s level of cortisol, your body’s primary stress hormone.
Pain Relief by increasing circulation and relaxing your muscles.
Weight Loss through heat and increased heart rate, mimicking how exercise affects your heart rate.
Improved Circulation; can stimulate blood flow, improve muscle recovery, and decrease pain and inflammation after intense exercise.
Skin Purification; by eliminating toxins from your pores and increasing circulation, resulting in clearer, softer, and healthier-looking skin.
Infrared Sauna vs. Traditional Sauna
Infrared heaters warm the body in a similar way as natural sunlight. Infrared Heat therapy uses the wavelength of the visible and non-visible light spectrum of sunlight that heats the body. Traditional saunas increase the temperature of the air to a very high level within the chamber to warm the body. Some people might have difficulty breathing in this extremely warm air. Far infrared saunas work differently. Instead of heating the air within the enclosure, far infrared saunas heat the body directly. The result is deeper tissue penetration. In the far infrared sauna, the body perspires and receives all of the healthy benefits but avoids the harmful and extremely hot air of a traditional steam sauna. Using the Infrared Sauna prior to a massage may also increase the benefits and efficacy of the massage by loosening tight muscles ahead of time.
